How to Configure Your SMTP Setting on Nexus AI

Configuring SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) in Nexus AI allows you to send emails using your email server or ane xternal provider like Mailgun. This guide will walk you through the setup process.

• Log in to your Nexus AI account. 
• Click on your Profile Picture in the top-right corner. 
• Select Integration from the drop-down menu.

• From the left sidebar, click Email. 
• Navigate to the SMTP Tab.

• Log in to your Mailgun account and open the Dashboard.
• In the left sidebar, click SEND, then select SENDING. 
• Scroll down to Domains and select the domain that you own from which you want to send your emails. 
• Click the SMTP Credentials tab. 
• Scroll down to find your SMTP settings. Copy these details into Nexus AI.

• If you want to send emails from a different email address, click "Add New SMTP User".

• Enter a unique username that will become your email address (e.g., [email protected]).
• Keep the Password creation method as Automatic.
• Click Create.

• A password will be generated. Click Copy and save it securely.

• Paste this password into the SMTP Password field in Nexus AI.

• Copy and paste the Host Name from Mailgun into Nexus AI. 
• Choose one of the available SMTP Ports: 25, 587, or 465. 
• The SMTP Username is the email address you just created (e.g., [email protected]).
• Set the "From Email Address" to the email you want your customers to see (e.g., [email protected]).
• Enter the Sender Name (e.g., Nexus AI Support Team). 
• Choose Encryption Type: TLS or SSL (for this example, leave it as TLS). 
• Click Add SMTP.

If you are using BrainMail (the custom email service on Nexus AI), use the following SMTP configuration: 

• Host: secure.emailsrvr.com
• Ports: 465 or 587
• Encryption: SSL
• Username: Your BrainMail email address
• Password: Your BrainMail password

Once the SMTP settings are configured, you can now:

✅ Improve email deliverability with your own SMTP server.
✅ Manage outgoing emails securely and efficiently.
